Our Quality

Buckeye is framed by the beautiful WhiteTank Mountains offering incredible vistas, breathtaking sunsets and Maricopa County’s largest recreational park – nearly 30,000 acres perfect for hiking, mountain biking and glorious trail rides.  Spectacular master-planned communities rising from the desert offer well planned elegance and efficiencies, along with a renaissance of small Town pleasures that surprise and delight! Exceptional homes, lovely parks and playgrounds, medical facilities, places of worship, a library, an aquatic park, convenient shopping, diverse restaurants and comfortable lodging are part of the total Buckeye experience.

Excellent schools add to Buckeye’s appeal.  Over 90 percent of Buckeye’s educational facilities use state-of-the-art technology and schools continue to improve student achievement in all areas.  Arizona State University, The University of Arizona, Thunderbird - the Garvin School of International Management, The Maricopa Advanced Technology Education Center, more than 10 community colleges and two skill centers offer continuing education for the region.

Little League, Pop Warner,  AYSO soccer, great swimming programs, and local clubs and organizations keep residents involved in the community.  Golfers can enjoy the beautiful and challenging Raven Golf Club at Verrado, designed by former British Open winner Tom Lehman and former U. S. Amateur champion John Fought. The Sundance Golf Club, designed by Greg Nash ASGCA, also is a test for players of all abilities.  The Town celebrates its western heritage with Pioneer Days in March, a great Fourth of July celebration and Countryfest in November.

A little over 30 miles down the road, the magnificent new Cardinals Stadium in Glendale is home to the NFL Cardinals .  The $450 million state-of-the-art stadium complex will host the Tostitos Fiesta Bowl and BCS College Football National Championship in 2007, and Super Bowl 2008. Fans of professional basketball and baseball have the Phoenix Suns and Arizona Diamondbacks nearby. The region also abounds with art, theater, music and cultural attractions.
