Demographic Information
Like most of the Phoenix metropolitan area, the Town of Buckeye saw its population increase dramatically during the 1990s. The population increased by over 92% from 4,436 in 1980 to 8,537 in 2000. This growth represents an ever-increasing market for retail and service industries.
By 2005, Buckeye's population grew to 25,406 and is projected to reach 80,000 by 2010!
There are a significant number of large planned housing developments in the area that will continue to fuel growth over the next 20 years. By 2030, population is projected to reach 380,000, making Buckeye the 4th largest city in the metro area.
